ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES for PAPER
The deadline for abstract submission is 25th May 2023. It is mandatory for the presenting author to register for the conference to present their accepted Abstract.
Please Follow These Instructions to Submit Abstracts For SOIICON 2023.
- The abstract should not be more than 300 words which should be typed in the box provided on the online abstract Submission Page. Please keep word font setting 10 in Times New Roman in the English language.
- Do not send abstract by email or hardcopy.
- The abstracts must contain original content which is not published, presented prior to this conference.
- All abstracts and presentations must be related to imaging or interventions in oncology.
- Research studies, case series, Pictorial essay, Survey can be submitted for consideration.
- As the official language for the conference is English the abstracts should be submitted & presented in English.
- The abstract for paper should be structured under the following sub-headings;
- Objective
- Material & Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- It is important that you read your text to ensure accuracy with no spelling, grammatical or Scientific errors. No Corrections will be accepted after the abstract submission.
- Maximum of 4 authors (including co-authors) are allowed.
- Use only standard abbreviations.
- Do not include references, acknowledgements, images, graphics, etc in abstract.
- When submitting an abstract for review, make sure you click the submit button one time only. If you do not click the submit button, your abstract will not be submitted.
- One can send more than one abstracts for paper/poster. Maximum credit points are (1 for paper + 1 for poster). Only presenting author will get certificate.
- Institutional ethics committee approval is author’s responsibility.
- Patient confidentiality must be maintained.
- There should not be conflict of interest. The responsibility of claim(s) of anybody or conflict of interest lie with author(s).
- There is no any financial claim to organizers / committee of the conference.
- Acknowledgement of the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter by e-mail upon the completion of submission.
- Evaluation committee shall review all abstracts. Paper abstracts will be chosen and divided as oral papers (power point presentation) and proffered e-papers. Those, whose abstract is selected for oral paper, will present them orally during the conference. Proffered papers will be as power point display during conference only; without oral presentation.
- Notification regarding acceptance of the submission, type of presentation and guidelines for paper presentation will be sent to the author to the email provided after acceptance of abstract. Kindly wait for 2 weeks after the last date of submission.
- Guidelines for paper presentation will also be displayed on conference website.
- The scientific committee reserves the right to accept / reject / assign a different presentation type to all the abstracts submitted.
- If you wish to withdraw your abstract, you must inform by e-mail.
- Abstract submitters can send their power point only after abstract acceptance email as per guidelines.
- You will also be provided slide template to prepare power point for the conference.
- There are attractive prizes for the winners of papers and posters.
